NYSF Delays First Performance of Henry V Again

The rescheduled date of the Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival production of Henry V at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park has been canceled. The new preview opening is Thursday, June 26.

A Public Theater representative explained that the nonstop rains left little time to rehearse the play’s many fight scenes. The cancellation of tomorrow’s show is a safety precaution for the company, including stars Liev Schreiber and Bronson Pinchot.
