The initial list of Broadway veterans scheduled to appear at the 2014 Stars in the Alley concert, presented by United Airlines and The Broadway League, has been announced. The concert will be held May 21 from 11am-12:30pm in Shubert Alley.

This year's Tony nominees Tyne Daly (Mothers and Sons), Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Joshua Henry (Violet), Andy Karl (Rocky), Adriane Lenox (After Midnight), Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), and Kelli O'Hara (The Bridges of Madison County) will take part in the event, which is set to be hosted by The Phantom of the Opera's new star Norm Lewis. Additional performers will be announced in the coming days.

The free outdoor concert is a precursor to the Tony Awards. Backed by a 12-piece orchestra, the stars will perform selections from currently running musicals. Among the shows set to participate are the four Tony-nominated Best Musicals, After Midnight, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Aladdin, and Beautiful — The Carole King Musical, along with long-running favorites like Chicago and Mamma Mia!, and the upcoming productions of Holler If Ya Hear Me and On the Town.
