On June 2, the 92nd Street Y will host a discussion with the stars and creative team behind Mothers and Sons, four-time Tony winner Terrence McNally's latest Tony-nominated drama. The panel will include McNally, director Sheryl Kaller, and cast members Bobby Steggert and Tyne Daly, who earned a Tony nomination for her leading performance. Perez Hilton will moderate.

Mothers and Sons centers on Katharine Gerard, a grieving mother who visits her deceased son's former partner 20 years after her son's AIDS-related death. She must confront her resentful emotions when she discovers that her son's ex is now happily married to another man, with whom he has a child.

The conversation will address several of the play's timely themes surrounding the LGBT community's cultural evolution, from the AIDS epidemic to marriage equality, as well as the changing face of family. McNally will also discuss his own evolution as a playwright, leading him to Mothers and Sons, his 20th Broadway show.
