Industry readings of the 1970 musical The Me Nobody Knows, choreographed by Taye Diggs, will be held today and tomorrow, May 14 and 15, and will feature a cast of students from the Broadway Dreams Foundation.

Inspired by the writing of 200 New York City public school children, The Me Nobody Knows follows a day in the life of a group of young people from poor upbringings as they examine their fears, aspirations, and determination.

With direction by Stafford Arima and musical direction by Bryan Perri, the show features music by Gary William Friedman, lyrics by Will Holt, and an adaption by Robert H. Livingston and Herb Schapiro (based on the book of the same title, edited by Stephen M. Joseph). Take a look at the students in rehearsal with Diggs and the rest of the creative team as they lay the groundwork for an anticipated commercial production.
