The acclaimed folk-rock fable The Old Man and the Old Moon will return to New York City next fall for a run at the New Victory Theater.

This theatrical event, created by and starring the seven actor-musicians of PigPen Theatre Co., will run from September 26-October 13 at the New Victory, opening the organization's new season. The show has previously been seen at Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Gym at Judson, Music Hall of Williamsburg, and the Bowery Ballroom.

U.K. companies the Young Vic and Complicite will also make New York appearances with the American premiere of The Magic Flute: Impempe yomlingo and Lionboy, respectively. The former, from the Isango Ensemble of South Africa, runs from November 1-9 and reimagines Mozart's opera. The latter, inspired by Zizou Corder's best-selling novels, is a family show about a boy who can speak to cats. It runs from January 23-February 1, 2015.

Cirque Ziva, a production of the Golden Dragon Acrobats, will be seen December 5-January 4, 2015, and Sydney Theatre Company's production of Pinocchio will have its U.S. premiere March 13-22. Additional titles include the American Repertory Theater production of The Light Princess (February 27-March 8), LUV: American Style (May 8-17), The Snail and the Whale (October 18-19), and The Mysterious Hat (April 25-26).
