Patti LuPone's son, Josh Johnston, and cousin Johann Carlo will join LuPone in the cast of the one-night-only concert presentation of The Cradle Will Rock, benefiting the Acting Company. The performance will take place on May 19 at Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Set in "Steeltown, USA," The Cradle Will Rock focuses on the efforts of the area's workers to combat a greedy businessman who controls the town. Lonny Price (Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill) will direct, with Michael Barrett serving as musical director. The cast will also feature Randle Mell, David Schramm (Finian's Rainbow), Tom Alan Robbins (Newsies), Brian Reddy (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Casey Biggs, Mary Lou Rosato, Denise Woods, Derek Smith (The Dance of Death), Fred Arsenault (Born Yesterday), Todd Cerveris (War Horse), Suzy Kohane, and Grant Fletcher Prewitt.

The Acting Company was cofounded by John Houseman, producer of Cradle's original 1937 production and director of the revival starring LuPone nearly 50 years later.
