The Atlantic Theater Company will present Latino Mixfest, a series of free readings on the theater's Stage 2, running from June 12-27.

In addition to Latino Mixfest, the Atlantic's residency program welcomes Raúl Castillo (HBO's Looking), who joins the company for the remainder of the season. "Along with developing new work with Raúl, we have invited José Rivera, Diane Rodriguez, and Tony nominee John Leguizamo for a series of workshops this summer," says Jaime Castañeda, curator of the festival and the company's artistic associate. "This year marks our fifth anniversary of engaging new work by Latino artists from across the country."

Latino Mixfest readings will include The Last Book of Homer by José Rivera on June 12, Between You, Me and the Lampshade by Raúl Castillo on June 23, The Sweetheart Deal by Diane Rodriguez on June 24, and Pain in the Aztec!, a new musical by John Leguizamo and Stephen Chbosky on June 27.
