The Keen Company has announced that the special guests for its 14th annual benefit, titled The Understudy's Evening — Tomorrow's Stars Today, will be F. Murray Abraham, Tony nominee Carolee Carmello, and Tony nominee Euan Morton. The gala will take place on May 19 at Manhattan Penthouse.

The evening will feature performances by understudies from Aladdin, Beautiful, Les Misérables, and Rocky: Tia Altinay (Jasmine understudy) and Josh Dela Cruz (Aladdin understudy) from Aladdin; Nathaniel Hackmann (Jean Valjean understudy) from Les Misérables; Rebecca LaChance (Carole King understudy) from Beautiful; and Okieriete Onaodowan (Apollo Creed understudy) from Rocky. Morton will serve as auctioneer.

Keen Company aims to create theater that provokes reflection and emotional connection. In intimate productions of plays and musicals, the company tells stories in which people strive to live with integrity. Through its educational arm, Keen Teens, Keen develops and produces new plays for high school audiences, expanding the repertoire of plays available for young people.
