Tony Award nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega will join the cast of Los Monólogos de la Vagina as a guest star from June 3-22. The Spanish-language production of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues plays at its original off-Broadway home at the Westside Theatre. Mexican director Jaime Matarredona helms the production.

Los Monólogos de la Vagina is modeled after the current Mexico City production, now in its 14th year. It is performed by a revolving cast and a portion of each ticket sold will go directly to benefit V-Day, the global activist movement to end violence against women founded by Eve Ensler.

Maria Cellario and Flor de Liz Perez will join the production along with Rubin-Vega. Kate del Castillo, Angélica María, and Angélica Vale continue through June 1.
Daphne Rubin-Vega is known for her Tony-nominated roles as Mimi in Rent and Conchita in Anna in the Tropics. She has also appeared on Broadway as Magenta in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fantine in Les Misérables, and Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire.
