Once Tony Award winner Orin Wolf Named President of NETworks Presentations

Wolf is the producer of the the 2012 Tony Award-winning best musical.

Kenneth Gentry, founder and acting chief executive officer of NETworks Presentations LLC has announced the addition of Orin Wolf to the company’s executive staff. Effective July 1, Wolf will act as the company’s president, alongside Chief Operating Officer Scott W. Jackson and Executive Vice President — Production, Seth Wenig.

Wolf founded OBB/Off Broadway Booking in 2005, acting as both president and CEO. His Broadway producing credits include Orphans (Tony nomination), Once (Tony Award), That Championship Season, and A View From the Bridge (Tony nomination).

“I’ve long admired the unsurpassed quality of NETworks’ productions and Ken’s role in the commercial theater business,” said Wolf in a statement. “I’m thrilled to be so close to the center of this organization and I hope my passion for producing will strengthen NETworks’ position in the business and allow for many years of growth as Broadway in New York and on tour continues to reinvent itself.”

Founded in 1995 by Gentry, Wenig, and Jackson, NETworks has produced and managed over 55 touring productions, both in the U.S. and internationally. Its current productions include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Billy Elliot The Musical, Blue Man Group national tour, Elf The Musical, Flashdance The Musical, the new 25th anniversary production of Les Misérables, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, and National Theatre of Great Britain’s production of War Horse, touring the U.S.

Future productions include The Phantom of the Opera, Memphis the Musical, and We Will Rock You, a new musical written by Queen and Ben Elton.
