Tony Award winners Randy Graff (City of Angels), Tonya Pinkins (Caroline or Change), Nellie McKay (Old Hats), Julie Halston (Anything Goes), Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher), Kate Baldwin (Finian’s Rainbow), Anthony Rapp (Rent), Lisa Kron (Well), Zachary Prince (Baby, It’s You), Carrie Manolakos (Mamma Mia!), Liana Stampur, Clinton Curtis, and more are set to perform at the New York Civil Liberties Union’s (NYCLU) Broadway Stands Up for Freedom annual benefit show on July 22 at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts.

Susan Blackwell ([title of show]) will host the event, with Georgia Stitt (America’s Got Talent) debuting as music director and Daniel Goldstein (Godspell) returning as director. In addition to performances from Broadway favorites, the event will feature the teenage winners of the NYCLU’s Freedom of Expression contest, which invites New York City public schools students to speak their minds on important civil liberties issues in their lives.

Proceeds from the show benefit the NYCLU, one of the nation’s foremost defenders of civil liberties and civil rights.
