Schedule Announced for TeatroStageFest 2012’s Summer Season

The Latino International Theater Festival of New York has announced the line-up for TeatroStageFest 2012’s summer season, to run June 1-25.

Theater productions include Rasgos Asiaticos by Pregones Theater (June 1-2); American Jornalero by INTAR Theatre (June 1-3); Pájaro – Bird by Gallinero Culeko (June 7, 15 at Casa Mezcal; June 14 at Red Carpet Theater at Taino Towers); 39 Defaults by Fifth Wall Theater (June 17, 19, 20 at Casa Mezcal); Muerte Súbita (Sudden Death) by Bridge Playhouse (June 1-2, 8-11, 20, 22-23 at Gershwin Hotel); Alita the Show by Solo2 Company (June 9 at Centro Español); and The Golden Cacao Bean by Fantastic Experimental Latino Theater (June 15-16, 22-23 at Teatro SEA).

Music and dance artists include the Javier Moreno Jazz Trio (June 13 at Casa Mezcal) and Limón Dance Company (June 19-24 at Joyce Theater).

The festival will also include a staged reading of Claudio Tolachir’s The Coleman Family’s Omission on June 25 at the Martin E. Segal Theatre; and master classes for directors (June 4 and 5 at the Lark Play Development Center) and actors (June 22-24 at the Lark).
