The National Corporate Theatre Fund held its annual gala on April 30 at The Pierre Hotel. The event was emceed by David Alan Grier.
The gala, which raised funds for NCTF’s 19 member theaters in the United States, honored Harry Connick, Jr. with its Theatre Artist Award, Ernst & Young CEO and NCTF Chairman James S. Turley with the Leadership Award, the Cleveland Clinic with the Institutional Leadership Award, and the Cleveland Play House with the Theatre Artist Award.
Guests included NCTF President and TheaterMania.com CEO Gretchen Shugart, Executive Director Bruce Whitacre, Kim Burrell, Tug Coker, Elizabeth A. Davis, Richard Easton, Jill Goodacre, Joel Grey, Hal Holbrook, David Henry Hwang, Michael Imperioli, Jessie Mueller, and Kate Mulgrew.
