The Irish Repertory Theatre and Gingold Theatrical Group have announced a two-week extension for George Bernard Shaw’s Man and Superman, directed by David Staller. The production will now run through July 1.

The cast of Man and Superman includes Will Bradley, Janie Brookshire,
Jonathan Hammond, Laurie Kennedy, Max Gordon Moore, Brian Murray, Paul O’Brien, Margaret Loesser Robinson, Brian Sgambati, and Zachary Spicer.

The design team features James Noone (set), Kirk Bookman (lighting), Theresa Squire (costumes), M. Florian Staab (sound), Robert-Charles Vallance (hair and wigs).

This is the play’s first New York revival in twenty-five years. Man and Superman tells the story of a man determined not to marry his ward, who is equally determined to marry him. She chases him from London to Spain to Hell and back. The staging includes the infamous dream sequence Don Juan in Hell, not often included in productions of the work.
