Glenn Close, James Earl Jones Featured in Simon Annand Photo Exhibit at The Players

The Players Foundation will host a six-week photo exhibition titled The Half: Photographs of Actors Preparing the Stage at The Players from May 7 through June 16.

The Half features 50 photos of actors in their dressing rooms by Simon Annand which were shot in the half-hour before the curtain rose on their productions. The exhibit is accompanied by Annand’s book The Half.

Shot over 25 years, actors included in the exhibition include Ellen Burstyn, Glenn Close, Rosemary Harris, James Earl Jones, and David Hyde Pierce.

Admission to the exhibit is a $10 suggested donation, from 11am to 4pm, Mondays through Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3pm, admission includes a guided tour of the private Players.
