In celebration of the centennial year of the Authors League, The Dramatists Guild of America has announced it will release archived audio from its In the Room series of conversations between playwrights, composers, and lyricists, unheard by the public since their initial recording.

Currently featured is a session from 2007 featuring Tina Howe and Sarah Ruhl, in which the playwrights discuss Ruhl’s style of poetic language, Aristotle, Macs vs. PC’s, motherhood, finding time to write, and writing, editing, and rewriting.

In the Room also features episodes with Stephen Sondheim, Terrence McNally, Doug Wright, Paula Vogel and others.
