Clybourne Park, An Iliad, Yellow Fever Added to Guthrie Theater Season

The Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis has announced additions to its 2012-2013 season, including a production of Bruce Norris’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play Clybourne Parkin the McGuire Proscenium Stage, to run June 1-August 4, 2013. It will be directed by Lisa Peterson.

The 2012-13 season in the Dowling Studio will include Wiliam Shakespeare’s As You Like It, presented by The Acting Company in association with the Guthrie, running January 12–February 3, and directed by Dan Rothenberg.


It will be followed by the Pillsbury House Theatre production of Buzzer by Tracey Scott Wilson, February 8-March 3, directed by Marion McClinton;
the Mu Performing Arts production of R.A. Shiomi’s Yellow Fever, March 8-24, to be directed by Rick Shiomi; and Stephen Yoakam starring in An Iliad, May 4–26, a one-performer interpretation of the classical story by Homer adapted by Lisa Peterson and Denis O’Hare, translated by Robert Fagles, and directed by Benjamin McGovern.
