The Broadway musical Once, currently playing the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, will launch a US National Tour in Summer 2013. Casting will be announced at a later date.

Based on the Academy Award-winning film of the same name, the musical tells the story of an Irish musician, known only as "Guy" and a Czech immigrant, known as "Girl," who are drawn together by their shared love of music. It features a book by Enda Walsh, music and lyrics of Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, and direction by John Tiffany.

The production features set and costume design by Bob Crowley, lighting design by Natasha Katz, and sound design by Clive Goodwin.

Once recently won three Lortel Awards including Outstanding Musical, and has been nominated for 11 Tony Awards, seven Outer Critic Circle Awards, three Drama League Awards and five Drama Desk Awards.
