Cast members from Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark will participate in a special one-day science event at the New York Hall of Science, on Sunday, May 27 at 1pm. The event is free with general NYSCI admission.

The science demonstration will be led by a NYSCI Explainer who will be joined by Spider-Man’s alter-ego Peter Parker to explore spider webs, Van der Waals forces, and angular momentum – all elements that Spidey uses to fight crime. A costumed Spider-Man will close out the demonstration.

Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark, which performs at the Foxwoods Theatre, features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley, original direction by Julie Taymor, and a book co-written by Taymor, Glen Berger, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
