Vineyard Theatre to Produce New Works by John Kander and Nicky Silver

The Vineyard Theatre will produce the world premiere of Nicky Silver’s The Lyons, which is described as concerning “unforgettable family in search of connection,” as part of the 2011-12 season. Details will be announced shortly.

The Vineyard has previously produced much of Silver’s work, including Raised in Captivity, Fit to Be Tied and The Eros Trilogy.

As previously reported, the season will also include Vineyard Developmental Lab Production of Andra, a new musical by Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and playwright-lyricist Gregory Pierce.
