VIDEO SHARE: New York Philharmonic’s Company With Neil Patrick Harris Trailer; U.S. Screening Venues Announced

A trailer for the film version of the New York Philhamonic’s concert presentation of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Company has been released. As previously reported, screenings of the taped version of the concert will begin on June 15.

The performance is directed by Lonny Price, with choreography by Josh Rhodes. The Philharmonic is conducted by Paul Gemignani.

The cast features Craig Bierko (Peter), Stephen Colbert (Harry), Jon Cryer (David), Katie Finneran (Amy), Neil Patrick Harris (Bobby), Christina Hendricks (April), Aaron Lazar (Paul), Patti LuPone (Joanne), Jill Paice (Susan), Martha Plimpton (Sarah), Anika Noni Rose (Marta), Jennifer Laura Thompson (Jenny), Jim Walton (Larry), and Chryssie Whitehead (Kathy), as well as Alexa Green, Fred Inkley, Rob Lorey, Jessica Vosk, Callie Carter, Ariana DeBose, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, and Lorin Latarro.

Along with the trailer, a complete list of U.S. venues that will host the film has been announced. New York cinemas that will host broadcasts of the concert include First & 62nd Cinemas, Chelsea Cinemas, Village East Cinema, and City Cinema 1-3, among others. Other movies houses in the Tri-State area that will offer screening of Company are Red Bank Cinemas and Clearview Headquarters (Morristown) in New Jersey, and Criterion Cinemas (New Haven) and Criterion Blue Back Square (West Hartford) in Connecticut.

In the Los Angeles area, Company will be shown at Rave 18, The Grove, Mann Chinese 6, and Culver Stadium, while Bay area screenings will be offered at the Embarcadero Center. Other California cities where the film will be shown include Azusa, Riverside, San Diego, and Thousand Oaks, among others.

Century Center Theater will host screenings in Chicago. Other cities in the area that will have screenings include Elk Grove, Naperville, and Rosemont.

Additionally, the Company film is slated for screenings in such cities as Cambridge, Lowell, and West Springfield in Massachusetts; Coconut Grove, Hialeah, St. Petersburg, and Tampa in Florida; and Allentown, Bryn Mawr, Lansdale, and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania.
