VIDEO FLASH: Bono and The Edge, Reeve Carney Perform Spider-Man‘s "Rise Again" on May 25 American Idol

Reeve Carney, who portrays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Broadway’s Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark, made an appearance on the May 25 season finale of FOX’s American Idol along with the show’s composers, Bono and the Edge of U2. They performed a special version of the song “Rise Again” from the musical.

As previously announced, a single of “Rise Again” was also released for digital download on May 25. The show’s original cast album is scheduled for release on June 14, the same day the show will officially open at the Foxwoods Theatre.


The musical follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he’s bitten by a genetically altered spider and must learn that with great powers comes great responsibility.
