Victoria E. Calderon’s Manipulation to Play Final Performance Off-Broadway May 29

Victoria E. Calderon’s Manipulation will play its final performance at the Cherry Lane Theatre on May 29. The production, which began performances on May 14, was to have officially opened on June 16.

Directed by Marilyn Fried, the play centers on a woman, trying to find happiness in her life, even as she copes with her husband’s flagrant infidelities, her mother’s suggestions that she have an affair herself, and her psychoanalyst’s self-serving advice.

The company features Robert Bogue, Mark Ethan, Gabriel Furman, Jeremy Stiles Holm, Mihaela Mihut, Robert Mobley, and Saundra Santiago.
