Roberto Alagna, Natalie Dessay, Plácido Domingo, Anna Netrebko, Marian Seldes, et al Featured in Met’s Summer HD Encores Series

The Metropolitan Opera will once again present Summer HD Encores, a series of screenings from the company’s Live in HD series, in more than 425 movie theaters across the United States.
Offerings will include Anthony Minghella’s production of Madama Butterfly, with Patricia Racette in the title role (June 15); Don Pasquale, starring Anna Netrebko (June 22); Simon Boccanegra, with Plácido Domingo in the title role (June 29); La Fille Du Regiment, starring Natalie Dessay and Juan Diego Flórez, and also featuring Marian Seldes in her Met debut (July 13); Tosca, with Karita Mattila, Marcelo Álvarez, and George Gagnidze (July 20); and Don Carlo, directed by Nicholas Hytner and featuring Roberto Alagna in the title role (July 27).
