Karen Olivo, Anika Noni Rose to Perform During Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks

Tony Award winners Anika Noni Rose and Karen Olivo will perform during Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, the pyro spectacular and concert to be held on July 4 along the Hudson River, from 20th to 55th Street, beginning at 9pm and broadcast live on NBC (check local listings).
The event will celebrate Independence Day as well as the 125th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. Rose and Olivo will pay tribute to the “Lady in the Harbor,” delivering a bilingual rendition of Doug Katsaros and William Schermerhorn’s “Gift of Light.” Additional casting will be announced in the near future
