Justin Bartha, Anna Camp, Krysten Ritter and David Wilson Barnes will star in Second Stage Theatre’s world premiere of Zach Braff’s All New People. Peter DuBois will direct the production, which begins previews June 28, with an opening date set for July 25.

The play takes place in the dead of winter in the summer vacation getaway of Long Beach Island, New Jersey, where Charlie (to be played by Bartha), heartbroken, just wants some time away from the rest of the world, but finds his solitude is interrupted by a motley parade of misfits who show up and change his plans.

The show will feature scenic design by Alexander Dodge, costume design by Bobby Frederick Tilley II, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, sound design by M.L. Dogg, and projections by Aaron Rhyne.

Bartha starred in the recent Broadway revival of Lend Me a Tenor. His film credits include The Hangover, Failure to Launch, and National Treasure. Camp appeared on Broadway in Equus and the Second Stage production of The Scene and is well known for her work on HBO’s True Blood. Ritter appeared in the Second Stage production of All This Intimacy and co-stars on Breaking Bad. Barnes appeared in the Second Stage production of Becky Shaw.

Braff received both WGA and Independent Spirit Award nominations for his screenplay for the feature film Garden State. His stage credits, as a performer, include Paul Weitz’s Trust at Second Stage and Twelfth Night and Macbeth for the Public Theater. He may be best known for his portrayal of Dr. John “J.D.” O’Brien on television’s Scrubs.
