John Malkovich to Be Honored at Munich International Film Festival

Stage and screen star John Malkovich, along with filmmaker Otar Iosseliani, will receive a CineMerit Award for lifetime achievement at this year’s Munich International Film Festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Malkovich’s stage credits include Burn This, True West, Death of a Salesman, The Caretaker, and The Infernal Comedy. As previously reported, he will appear in The Infernal Comedy: Confessions of a serial killer at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in November.

A two-time Oscar nominee, his many films include Dangerous Liaisons, In the Line of Fire, and Places in the Heart.
