Gay Bride of Frankenstein Musical to Play Off-Broadway in 2011-2012 Season

The new musical Gay Bride of Frankenstein will receive an Off-Broadway run, produced by Eric S. Goldman, during the 2011-2012 season, with the aim to either start previews or open the show on Halloween. Specifics about cast, creative team, and venue will be announced at a later date.

Written by Dane E. Leeman (book) and Billy Butler (book, music & lyrics), this pop/rock, fairy tale musical follows the exploits of four high school friends on one fateful Halloween night at a very unconventional Monsters Ball.

Originally produced as a workshop at The Players’ Ring in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the musical received a developmental production as part of the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival.
