Broadway Impact co-founders Gavin Creel and Rory O’Malley will participate in a talkback following the Sunday, June 5 evening performance of the Tony-nominated Broadway production of The Normal Heart, at the Golden Theatre.

The event is part of the previously reported series of talkbacks presented in conjunction with the revival of Larry Kramer’s landmark work. The talkbacks are intended to underscore the themes and historical context of the play, which focuses on the terrifying early years of the AIDS epidemic in New York.

Creel received Tony Award nominations for his performances in Hair and Thoroughly Modern Millie. O’Malley is currently Tony-nominated for his performance in The Book of Mormon.

Broadway Impact is a grassroots organization of the theater community and its fans, mobilizing in support of marriage equality.
