Allison Janney Joins Cast of Josh Radnor’s Liberal Arts Film

Award-winning stage and screen star Allison Janney has joined the cast of the film Liberal Arts, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is being directed by television and stage star Josh Radnor, who will play a 35-year-old man who is still yearning for the life of a college student but who must come to terms with his age and responsibilities.

The cast also includes Elizabeth Olsen, Richard Jenkins, and Elizabeth Reaser. Janney will play an English professor in the film.

Janney’s Broadway credits include 9 to 5, for which she received a Drama Desk Award and a Tony Award nomination, as well as A View from the Bridge, and Present Laughter. She is best known for her Emmy Award-winning work on NBC’s The West Wing.
