Alison Arngrim’s Confessions of a Prairie Bitch to Play Laurie Beechman Theatre in June

Alison Arngrim will bring her solo show Confessions of a Prairie Bitch back to New York, with an engagement at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, June 17 and 18 at 7:30pm.

Arngrim is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Nellie Oleson on television’s Little House on the Prairie. In Confessions, the actress explores her career, with a concentration on her work on Little House, in addition to musing on child stars and TV icons of the 1970s and 80s.

Arngrim has also released a similarly titled memoir, Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated, through Harper Collins, which became a New York Times and Wall Street Journal Best Seller.

The actress’ other television credits include Love Boat and Fantasy Island. On screen, Arngrim has been seen in films such as For the Love of May, The Last Place on Earth, and Make The Yuletide Gay. She has been performing stand-up since age 15 at comedy clubs such as Laugh Factory, The Improvisation, and Comedy Store.
