Red Clay Ramblers to Play City Winery June 25

The acclaimed string band, The Red Clay Ramblers, will perform at New York’s City Winery on Friday, June 25.

The members of the band include Jack Herrick (bass, trumpet, bouzouki, pennywhistle), Bland Simpson (piano), Clay Buckner (fiddle), Chris Frank (guitar, accordion, tuba), Rick Good (banjo) and Rob Ladd (drums).

The Red Clay Ramblers appeared on Broadway in Fool Moon, which won a Special Tony Award for Live Theatrical Presentation. They received a Drama Desk nomination for their music for Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind, and also penned the musical Lone Star Love: the Merry Wives of Windsor, Texas, earning Outstanding Musical nominations from both the Lucille Lortel Awards and the NY Outer Critics’ Circle.
