Randy Blair, Chad Carstarphen, Matt Doyle, et al. Set for Perez Hilton Saves The Universe at Joe’s Pub

Matt Doyle and Chad Carstarphen will join original cast members Randy Blair, Timothy Michael Drucker, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, Sevan Greene, Laura Jordan, Ana Nogiuera, and Dana Steingold for a one-night-only performance of Perez Hilton Saves The Universe (Or At Least The Greater Los Angeles Area): The Musical to be offered on May 30 at at Joe’s Pub. Connor Gallagher will direct and choreograph the performance.

Originally seen at the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival, the musical features a book by Blair and Drucker, lyrics by Blair and a score by Zachary Redler. It focuses on the celebrity gossip blogger as he confronts the plans of evil Islamic terrorists and Kathy Griffin.

The creative team will include David Withrow (costume design), Matt Steinbrenner (set and projection design), Brian Tovar (lighting design), Adam Wachter (musical direction and arrangements), and Brian Lowdermilk (additonal arrangements).
