Sheldon Harnick is the host of Poisoning Pigeons in the Park: The Art of the Satiric Comedy Song, at the 92nd Street Y, which held its first performance on Saturday, May 8, and has an additional show tonight, May 10, at 8pm. The evening is directed by David Garrison, and features music director Rob Fisher on piano.

In addition to Harnick, songwriters represented in the show include John Kander, Tom Lehrer, Stephen Sondheim, John Kander, and the Monty Python writers. Both Kander and Lehrer were in attendance on Saturday.

The cast includes Judy Blazer, Chuck Cooper, Jeff McCarthy, and Debra Monk. The band features Andrew Sterman, reeds; Bruce Bonvissuto, trombone; Jeffrey Carney, bass; and Arnold Kinsella, drums.
