Ben Andron’s
White’s Lies, opened at
New World Stages on Thursday, May 6.
The play concerns Joe White, a successful lawyer and womanizing bachelor whose life changes when his mother drops a bombshell on him: she’s got cancer and her dying wish is to have a grandchild.
Bob Cline directed the production, which stars Tuc Watkins, Peter Scolari, Betty Buckley, Christy Carlson Romano, Peter Scolari, Jimmy Ray Bennett, Andrea Grano, and Rena Strober.
Among the opening night guests were Lea Delaria, Farah Fath, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ilene Kristen, Robin Strasser, Frankie Valli, Kate Walsh, and Karen Ziemba.
