Patricia Drozda, Sarah Elizondo, Ken Glickfeld, et al Cast in Can You Hear Their Voices? Revival

Peculiar Works Project has announced casting for its site-specific revival of Hallie Flanagan and Margaret Ellen Clifford’s 1931 play Can You Hear Their Voices? (A Play of Our Time), to play A Pop-Up Space in Noho, June 3-27, with an opening on June 6. Ralph Lewis and Barry Rowell will direct the production.

The piece is adapted from a short story by Whittaker Chambers and dramatizes the effects of a drought that struck Arkansas in 1931. The company will feature Tonya Canada, Patricia Drozda, Sarah Elizondo, Ken Glickfeld, Mick Hilgers, Christopher Hurt, Derek Jamison, Ben Kopit, Carrie McCrossen, Catherine Porter, and Rebecca Servon.

The creative team will include Deb O (costume design), David Castaneda (lighting design), Matthew Tennie (video design), and Seth Bedford (original music).
