Kathleen Chalfant to Deliver Keynote for Cooper Union Commencement

Award-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant will deliver the keynote address at The Cooper Union’s 151st Commencement on Tuesday, May 25, at 10am.

Chalfant won the Obie Award, Drama Desk Award, Lucille Lortel Award, Drama League Award and Los Angeles Ovation Award for her performance as Vivian Bearing in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Wit. She was Tony-nominated for her performance as Hannah Pitt in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America: Millennium Approaches. She is currently appearing Off-Broadway in Family Week through May 23, and will star Off-Broadway in Karen Malpede’s new play Prophecy, which begins previews May 29.
