Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Penguin Rep’s Over the Tavern

Full cast and creative team have been announced for Penguin Rep’s production of Tom Dudzick’s comedy Over the Tavern, to play May 14-June 6. The production will be directed by Thomas Caruso,

It’s 1959 and the Pazinskis — Mom, Dad and their four children — have a lot going on in their cramped Buffalo apartment located over the father’s bar, as they cope with everything from teen angst to s-e-x! But when 12-year-old Rudy announces he’d like to shop around for a more “fun” religion, all hell breaks loose.

The cast features Jonny Adamow as George, Stephan Adamow as Eddie, Christopher Cox as Rudy, Kevin Cutts as Chet, Judy Frank as Sister Clarissa, Kathryn Markey as Ellen, and Ashley Scales as Annie.

The creative team includes Ken Larson (set designer), Cindy Capraro (costume designer), Martin E. Vreeland (lighting designer), Chris Rummel (sound designer), and Andy Parkhurst (choreographer).
