2010 Tony Award nominee Laura Linney, along with Brian d’Arcy James and Eric Bogosian, will once again star in Donald Margulies’ Tony-nominated Time Stands Still when it returns to Broadway this fall, beginning previews on September 23 at a theater to be announced. Daniel Sullivan has directed the Manhattan Theatre Club production.

The play focuses on a journalist and a photographer, long-term partners, who share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when injuries force them to return home to New York, they confront the prospect of a more conventional life. Casting for one additional role, originally played by Alicia Silverstone who will not be able to continue with the production due to previously scheduled commitments, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Rita Ryack (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Darron L West (sound design), Peter Golub (original music), and Thomas Schall (fight direction).
