Elna Baker, Mike Birbiglia Set for May 26 Selected Shorts Performance

Mike Birbiglia and Elna Baker are set to perform at a joint offering of the radio series, This American Life and Selected Shorts on May 26 at Symphony Space. Ira Glass and Isaiah Sheffer will serve as co-hosts of the event.

Both performers will be sharing their own stories. Birbiglia received a Drama Desk Award nomination for his solo show Sleepwalk with Me and will be performing selections from his forthcoming book of the same title. Baker will be offering excerpts from her book The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance, a coming of age story about her experiences as a practicing Mormon in New York City.
