Dr. Who‘s Colin Baker to Play Inspector Morse in U.K. House of Ghosts Tour

Colin Baker will play Inspector Morse in Alma Cullen’s House of Ghosts, which will launch a U.K. tour from the Gordon Craig Theatre on August 27. Robin Hurford will direct the production, which will tour to an additional 14 venues, including London’s Richmond Theatre, where it will run September 6-11.

The play focuses on what happens when an old acquaintance of Detective Chief Inspector Endeavour Morse becomes the lead suspect in a murder case that involves the on-stage death of a young actress. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Baker is perhaps best known for his portrayal of The Doctor in the popular Dr. Who series. Among his other credits are such U.K. series as The Knock and The Brothers.
