Broadway’s God of Carnage to Now Close on June 6

Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage will now play its final performance at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on Sunday, June 6, three weeks earlier than its previously announced closing date of Sunday, June 27.

The play, directed by Tony winner Matthew Warchus, is about two married couples dealing with a schoolyard dispute between their sons.

The production currently stars Dylan Baker, Jeff Daniels, Lucy Liu, and Janet McTeer. It originally featured Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden (who won the Tony for Best Actress in Play). They were suceeded by
Christine Lahti, Annie Potts, Jimmy Smits, and Ken Stott.
