Vanessa Williams to Perform Live on The View; Host Listening Party for New CD to Benefit LIFEbeat

Vanessa Williams will perform a selection from her new CD The Real Thing on ABC’s The View on Wednesday, June 3, with singer Darius de Haas, and will host a listening party that evening to benefit LIFEbeat – The Music Industry Fights AIDS, at Greenhouse (150 Varick Street) at 8:30 pm. LIFEbeat uses the power of the music industry to raise funds and enhance awareness of HIV/AIDS issues.
Williams, who currently appears on ABC’s Ugly Betty, received a Tony nomination for her performance in the revival of Into the Woods, and has also starred on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman.
