On Sunday night, the 2009 Lucille Lortel Awards, honoring the best of the Off-Broadway season, were held at the Marriott Marquis. Stage and television favorite Kristen Johnston was the event's stunning host.
Among the evening's winners were David Cromer, who was named Outstanding Director for his work on Our Town, which was also named Outstanding Revival.
Saidah Arrika Ekulona, who was named Outstanding Lead Actress for her work in Ruined, posed with fashion designer Christian Siriano (of Project Runway fame) and actress Mireille Enos.
Kerry Condon was named Outstanding Featured Actress for her work in the Altantic Theater Company's acclaimed revival of Martin McDonagh's The Cripple of Inishmaan.
John Douglas Thompson won the award for Outstanding Lead Actor for his performance in the title role of Theatre for a New Audience's Othello.
Oscar and Tony Award winner Ellen Burstyn was nominated for her extraordinary work in The Little Flower of East Orange.
Thomas Sadoski earned a Featured Actor nomination for his role in the Second Stage production of Becky Shaw.
Piper Perabo -- who is currently co-starring with Sadoski in the Broadway production of Neil LaBute's reasons to be pretty -- was one of the many celebrity presenters on hand.
