Shelean Newman to Release Anything Goes CD; Offer Free NYC Concert

Actress Shelean Newman will release her debut CD Anything Goes on Tuesday, June 9, and will celebrate the occasion with a free concert at the Living Room (154 Ludlow Street) at 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 17.

On the CD, Newman, a 15-year veteran of the Tennessee Repertory Company, interprets 12 standards from The Great American Songbook, using blues and jazz, Southern rock and New Orleans piano boogie, among other musical styles.
