Sam Mendes to Direct Bridge Project’s Three Sisters and As You Like It

Oscar winner Sam Mendes will direct Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters and William Shakespeare’s As You Like It, for the second season of the Bridge Project, according to Variety. No casting has been announced.
The Bridge Project represents a collaboration among BAM, London’s Old Vic Theatre, headed by Kevin Spacey, and Mendes, who also directed the first two shows in the Bridge Project: The Cherry Orchard and The Winter’s Tale, which previously played BAM, toured internationally, and will open at the Old Vic this month.
Mendes received a Tony nomination for his direction of Cabaret and an Oscar for directing American Beauty.
