Melissa Gilbert, Jill Hennessy, Vanessa Williams, et al. to Appear at Borders Columbus Circle

Borders New York has announced its June line-up of celebrity appearances.

Borders Columbus Circle will host stage and television star Vanessa Williams signing copies of her new CD The Real Thing (June 2, 7pm); which is a described as “a potpourri of breezy Latin rhythms, sultry jazz standards and dreamy pop sketches.” Williams appeared on Broadway in Into the Woods and Kiss of the Spider Woman and currently stars on ABC’s Ugly Betty.

Other stars appearing at the store include television personality Chuck Barris reading and signing his book Who Killed Art Deco? (June 4, 7pm), Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert signing her memoir Prairie Tale (June 9, 7pm), and actress Jill Hennessy performing selections from and signing her CD Ghosts in My Heart (June 17, 7pm).

In addition, Latina superstar Thalia will sign her new book Radiante at Borders Penn Plaza at 7pm on June 11.
