Gavin Creel, Kristin Davis, Cheyenne Jackson, Audra McDonald, Cynthia Nixon, et al. Set for Broadway Impact Rally

Broadway Impact, a rally in support of love, peace, and marriage equality for all people, will be held from 5 pm-7 pm on Sunday, May 17 at Sixth Avenue and 44th Street.

Gavin Creel, who plays Claude in the current Broadway revival of Hair, will host the event, which will feature a performance by the show’s cast along with performances and appearances by Audra McDonald, Cheyenne Jackson, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, State Senator Tom Duane, and State Assemblyman Daniel O’Donnell, among others.

Creel, who is openly gay, is a co-founder of the group. “I am thrilled we are able to come together to urge people to take direct action,” he said in a statement.
