Bill Irwin, Beth Leavel, Christopher Sieber, Paulo Szot and More Set for New 42 Follies

Tony Award winner Bill Irwin will host the third annual New 42 Follies, to be presented on May 11. The evening will begin at 6:15pm with a Cocktail Reception in the Lew’s Lobby at The New Victory Theater, and also include a gala dinner at New 42nd Street Studios at 8:30 pm.

The evening’s entertainment will feature Tony Award winner Paulo Szot singing “This Nearly Was Mine” from South Pacific, accompanied by Fred Lassen; Tony nominee Christopher Sieber performing “The Ballad of Farquaad” from Shrek the Musical, accompanied by Tony nominee Jeanine Tesori; Tony winner Beth Leavel performing “Home” from Minsky’s, accompanied by Larry Goldberg (piano) and Perry Cavari (drums); one of the Billys singing “Electricity” from Billy Elliot; Tituss Burgess singing “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat” from Guys and Dolls; and an excerpt from “Le Grand Pas de Quatre” by Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo, performed by Robert Carter, Fernando Medina Gallego, Joseph Jefferies, and Raffaele Morra.

The gala will honor Marian S. Heiskell, founding Chairman of The New 42nd Street Board of Directors. Proceeds will benefit the projects of The New 42nd Street: The New Victory Theater, New 42nd Street Studios, and The Duke on 42nd Street.
