Amir Arison, Keith Nobbs, Michele Pawk, Jenny Powers, et al. Set for Epic Theatre’s Sunshine Series

The Epic Theatre Ensemble will present the Sunshine Series 2009, a festival of free readings of new plays and musicals at the 13th Street Theatre, May 28-June 16.

This year’s selections are Russell Davis’ Mahida’s Extra Key to Heaven, directed by Will Pomerantz (May 28 at 7pm); Leila Buck’s In the Crossing, directed by Sheila Gold (June 4 at 3pm); James Wallert and Brian J. Nash’s musical A Night in Seville, directed by Ron Russell (June 8 at 7pm and June 9 at 2pm); Yvette Sirker’s Hell & High Water, directed by Daniella Topol (June 10 at 7pm); Warren Leight’s Home Front, directed by Evan Yanoulis (June 11 at 7pm); Hannah Moscovitvch’s East of Berlin, directed by Sara Botsford (June 14 at 3pm), and Nancy Harrow and Will Pomerantz’s musical This Side of Paradise (June 15 at 7pm and June 16 at 2pm).

Among the many participating actors in the series are Amir Arison, Shawn Elliott, Harriett D. Foy, Roxanna Hart, Chris Hoch. Billy Eugene Jones,Garret Long, Keith Nobbs, Michele Pawk, Halley Pfeiffer, and Jenny Powers.
